BallBet does not currently have paid affiliate or referral agreements with any sportsbook. The line data we display comes from a paid subscription to The Odds API (a neutral aggregator), not from sportsbook partnerships. If we add affiliate links in the future, they will be marked clearly and will not influence which edges the model surfaces.
Major League Baseball attribution.
BallBet.AI is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball or any MLB team. MLB statistics are sourced from publicly available data via the MLB Stats API and Baseball Savant under their terms of use.
Data source acknowledgments.
Pitch-level data: MLB Statcast via the public Baseball Savant and MLB Stats API endpoints, accessed via the pybaseball open-source library. Game schedule + probable pitchers: MLB Stats API. Weather: Open-Meteo (free, no API key, GDPR compliant). Sportsbook lines: The Odds API. Historical seasons (when shown): Retrosheet and Baseball Reference (research-use license). All used in accordance with their respective terms.
Personal betting positions.
Members of the BallBet team may personally place bets using the platform. We do not influence model outputs based on those positions. The Calibration Dashboard makes every modeled edge publicly auditable.
Advertising & sponsored content.
BallBet does not currently accept advertising or sponsored content. If that changes, every paid placement will be markedSPONSORED in monospace, never blended into editorial.
Editorial independence.
Methodology decisions, model weights, and which edges surface on the Edge Board are decided by the BallBet model team. No sportsbook, partner, or advertiser has input on any of these.
